Here we are again...
Are you ready for a film journey??!I think YES...!
Well,today we present to you : Phone Booth.

In my holidays,i saw this film!I think that Phone Booth is the best example of the successful marketing in Hollywood.

Despite the fact that the film has two apparent drawbacks.The first difficulty of the script from Larry Cohen is the time.The film is presented in real time,which presents us 81 consecutive minutes from the life of Stuart Shepared,something leaves no room for lax editing and directing verbose.The second difficulty is the place.The entire film takes place in one area : the phone booth which is ''limited''by Stuart.Schumacher with a wide range of directional ''tricks''(different views of the chamber,simultaneous performance of ''action'' in more than one street)succeeds and overcomes both problems of the script with characteristic ease.The direction is tight,but with a frenzied pace,it features stunning the clastophobic feeling of a telephone booth,while the fast pace of the big city which is moving around him.The script by Larry Cohen is destructive,subversive with clever dialogues and with the tiered peak of the action.

The upcoming ''kid''(with the good sense always) of Hollywood,Colin Farrel,gives Schumacher a strong external nature,but in fact vulnerable to his lies and to his insecurity.Farrel gives ''feed'' to his director with his plenty movements and expressions in a very good confined space.

''Phone Booth'' is a very good cinema propose and the short duration does not make boring.

 

So another time comment has came to an end!!!The other time,we will introduce you to another movie,so stay tuned!!!:))
