'X-Men' news: Hugh Jackman returning for 'Days of Future Past' .

The Hollywood Reporter announced on Nov. 28 that Hugh Jackman is in talks to reprise his role as Wolverine in the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" movie.

Jackman was the only member of the original trilogy's cast to appear in "X-Men: First Class''.Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine in the 2013 release, "The Wolverine," a movie that takes place after the events of "X-Men: The Last Stand."

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are both returning to portray Professor X and Magneto in the movie as well. The movie employs a time travel plot, with an alternate future, so these two men can play their iconic characters in the future while James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender can reprise their roles in the movie's present day.

Unlike Magneto and Professor X, Wolverine ages at a slower pace, meaning Jackman could play the character in the present and the future and look the same.

The story the movie is based on shows a future world where mutants are feared and the government uses giant robots called Sentinels to hunt them down. This was caused by Magneto orchestrating the assassination of a senator, which the present day X-Men must stop to save their future.

''The Wolf of Wall Street''  has been in production in New York for a few weeks now, and today Entertainment Weekly  has a look at DiCaprio in action. The image below appears to have the hot shot being carted off by authorities, and in the background you can spot Kyle Chandler as Patrick Denham, the FBI agent who brought Belfort down. 

Ben Affleck is EW's Entertainer of the Year .

Somewhere between the heartwarming 1997 drama "Good Will Hunting" and this year's critical darling "Argo," Ben Affleck went from Oscar winning "It" boy to Hollywood's prime punching bag to Entertainment Weekly's "Entertainer of the Year." 

It's a fitting title for Affleck, who directed and starred in one of the most well received films of the year. In an interview with the outlet, the actor said that he did not anticipate the film's success, but knew on a personal level that the gripping drama was a project that he could be proud of.  

“I had very low expectations for 'Argo's' performance,” Affleck said. “I just hoped that over time people would find the movie. Also, being at a place in my life and my career where I know what I’m trying to do, it’s different than being 26. When you’re younger and have the early success that I had — it sounds like the worst Hallmark cliche — but I didn’t have anyone to share it with. I don’t mean I wanted someone to sit by the fire with. But when you have a family and children, you kind of see yourself reflected in them. I want to make the kinds of movies that my kids are proud of. I have higher standards, in a way, for them.”

"Argo" gives formidable hope for Affleck that his career follies are behind him -- it would take more than another "Gigli" to push him out of the winner's circle.  The film, which tells the extraordinary true story of the 1979 CIA rescue of six American hostages in Iran, has put the star back on top. Riveting, comical and uplifting, "Argo" is expected to earn Oscar nominations for such top awards as Best Director and Best Picture.

His vulnerable, razor-clawed character first warmed audiences's hearts 22 years ago.

And Johnny Depp reprised his Edward Scissorhands character in a 20-second cameo for the eleventh season of Family Guy, which airs this Sunday night on Fox.

In the episode, titled Lois Comes Out of Her Shell, the sitcom's matriarch begins acting half her age, which prompts the rest of the family to ponder why.

'Thor 2' : The Dark World'

The intense battle scene sees Chris Hemsworth in his Thor getup striking Malekith the Accursed, played by Christopher Eccleston, with his mighty weapon.

 

Speaking about Thor’s tempestuous relationship with his brother Loki recently, Chris said: 'It’s what I loved about the comics. It was never clean and cut and that’s it. It was always like, Thor would forgive him, they’d be friends, and Loki would betray him again. "You idiot, Thor! Again?"'

In Thor: The Dark World, the eponymous hero will battle to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from an ancient enemy that was around before the universe itself.

The war will be a taxing one both physically and emotionally, as Thor reunites with his love interest Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, and is faced with giving up everything to save the world.

Thor 2 also stars Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Idris Elba, Zachary Levi, Stellan Skarsgard, Kat Denning and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

“Dom Hemingway” is slated for a 2013 release and also stars Emilia Clarke, Richard E. Grant, Demian Bichir, Kerry Condon, and Madalina Ghenea.

Per the synopsis, “After spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut, notorious safe-cracker Dom Hemingway is back on the streets of London looking to collect what he's owed.”

New ‘Hitchcock’ Trailer Is Released Online.

A new biopic, “Hitchcock,” is opening in theaters on Nov. 23  and stars Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock struggling to make the controversial  film as it was met with resistance from studio executives. The movie also depicts Hitchcock’s relationship with his wife, played by Helen Mirren, who had an influential role in his career.

News Network appears to be among the first to break the story on Nov. 8, 2012 about an exciting new movie which Tom Cruise is working on: All You Need Is Kill Film's 1st Set Photo Posted. The Sankei Sports news website has posted the first set photo on Thursday of Tom Cruise from the Warner Bros.' upcoming live-action film which is an adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's Japanese prose novel All You Need Is Kill. The film is said to have begun production in London's Leavesden Studios last month.

The story begins in the near future at a time when a hive-like alien race, called Mimics, have hit the planet earth in a horrible assault with cities being crashed down into rubble and millions of human casualties. Cruise, playing the role of Lt. Col. Bill Cage, leads the fight against the Mimics.
