The buff actor was filming scenes for his new movie ''Dead Man Down'' in the US city of Philadelphia.

He takes on a typically all-action role as a mobster seeking revenge in the gritty crime drama.

''Dead Man Down'' comes hot on the heels of Farrell’s other recent project — the remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Total Recall, due out in August.

Beyonce, Colin Farrell to star in animated film !

A new 3D CG animated film ‘Epic’ will have a star-studded voice cast ranging from popstar Beyonce Knowles, Colin Farrell to Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

The film will be directed by Chris Wedge of ‘Ice Age’. Knowles will voice the character of Queen Tara, Farrell as Ronin, Josh Hutcherson as Nod, Amanda Seyfried as Mary Katherine, rapper Pitbull as Bufo, Jason Sudeikis as Bomba and Tyler as Nim Galuu, reported a website.

The film is a battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and evil. When a teenaged girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters to save that world, which in turn saves the real world."

‘Epic’, which was developed under the working title ‘Leafmen’, will be released on May 24, 2013 in the US. 

'Les Miserables' : Trailer with Anne Hathaway .

Anne Hathaway stars in a new trailer for the movie version of Les Miserables. She plays Fantine and sings the iconic 'I Dreamed a Dream,' a song that has been performed by many women, from Susan Boyle to Broadway favorite Lea Salonga.
The musical, based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, follows paroled prisoner Jean Valjean (Jackman) who takes in Fantine’s (Hathaway) illegitimate daughter Cosette (Seyfried) and raises her. At the same time, his freedom is threatened by Inspector Javert (Crowe), who is determined to send Valjean back to prison.
Les Miserables is set to open in theaters on Dec. 14.

Phoenix on set of his new film.

The film is set to star Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Amy Adams and Samantha Morton along with Wilde , and is about a man (Phoenix) who falls in love with the computer voice on his phone. It’s a good thing that didn’t happen to Samuel L. Jackson or John Malkovich.

The film is currently untitled, but it has secured financing. It’s being backed by Megan Ellison, who has been behind the works of such great artists as Paul Thomas Anderson and Terrence Malick, and is helping to produce Charlie Kaufman’s next film. Truly, Ellison’s production company has been one of the most interesting and challenging companies looking to produce films today, and anything they step behind is usually something interesting.

New images have surfaced today which feature Natalie Portman and Christian Bale filming scenes forTerrence Malick‘s new film Knight Of Cups. The Daily Mail got their hands on the photos which give us an additional look at Bale and our first look at Portman, who is signed on to star in not only Knight Of Cups, but also in Malick’s other new and currently untitled film.

Knight Of Cups stars Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett and Isabel Lucas, and will hopefully be released in 2013.

Cosmpolis Premiere in Germany !

Robert Pattinson and director David Cronenberg attend the Cosmopolis premiere on Thursday (May 31) in Berlin, Germany.

The night before, the 26-year-old English actor promoted the drama at its Paris premiere.

“When there’s people screaming outside, I’m like, `This is incredible.’ That people are screaming for this, the most bizarre movie – it’s amazing,”Robert told the Associated Press last week.

Jeremy Renner stars in the offshoot of the  Matt Damon Bourne saga based on Robert Ludlum‘s novels.

Renner plays Aaron Cross, a fellow operative that goes through similar life or death experience while Jason is undergoing the similar experiences in 2007. Basically, this is all happening at the same time as ‘The Bourne Ultimatum.’ Jason’s actions cause the CIA to opt to burn the program and kill the 9 participants. Aaron and Jason are just 2 of the marks.
