To Rome With Love, says Woody Allen.

Woody Allen is now in love with Rome, after his trysts with London, Barcelona and Paris. His next film will be called To Rome With Love, which will capture the mood, the flavour, the history and the tradition of a great city, said to have been built by Romulus and Remes, twins suckled by a she-wolf. 

The movie was earlier titled, Nero Fiddled. But not many can identify Rome with Nero, the emperor who played the fiddle while the city burnt. Producer Sony Pictures Classics said that "Nero Fiddled, while an appropriate and humorous phrase in the USA, is not a familiar expression overseas, and many international territories preferred a more globally understood name.”. So, it is To Rome With Love, which will probably remind us of another wonderful film, Roman Holiday (1953), where Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn delighted us with their comic romance.

To Rome With Love is also about romance, about a number of people in Italy – some Italians, some Americans – and their adventures and predicaments. With an impressive star cast that includes Allen, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penelope Cruz, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig and Ellen Page, the movie will open on June 22. It is not yet clear when it will screen in India.
 
Allen’s next, Vicky Christina Barcelona, set in the Spanish city, paints the life of a Bohemian artist, whose former wife would not let him have his flings with two attractive visitors.
 
The director’s 2011 Midnight in Paris is a hauntingly beautiful, and of course romantic, look at the French capital by night, when at the stroke of 12, a screenwriter enters into the magical world of luminaries like Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Picasso – to finally find his inspiration.

Allen has been, for some years now, romancing with several European cities, making a film in each one of them. He began this odyssey with Match Point, a romantic thriller set in London, narrating the story of a tennis coach who would stop at nothing to reach the higher echelons of the society.

New DALLAS TNT cast photo is incredibly cheesy.

The promo reads, “They’re back. And no, you’re not dreaming,” which references the moment when the character Bobby Ewing was found alive in a shower, even though he’d been killed off the previous season. That’s the kind of quality TV show that TNT is bringing back to you.

Julia Roberts and co-star Lily Collins were all sorts of glamorous on Saturday, as the actresses attended the world premiere of their new film, "Mirror Mirror" in Hollywood.

Roberts, 44, donned a black pantsuit and pink blouse, while Collins, sparkled in a Dolce & Gabbanna dress.

The cast finished the evening at the Roosevelt Hotel, with a special apple birthday cake to celebrate Collins' 24th birthday.

"Mirror Mirror," one of two Snow White films coming out this year, is directed by Tarsem Singh ("Immortals"), starring Collins as the raven-haired princess. The other Snow White film, "Snow White and the Huntsman," stars "Twilight" alum Kristen Stewart.

"It's funny, I mean, they are so different, they couldn't be more different . . . Kristen and I have laughed about the fact that we're apparently 'rivals.' And it's just funny to us . . . I think that people are going to get different things out of each one," Collins (daughter of Phil) told Access Hollywood in a recent interview.

Roberts plays the evil queen in "Mirror Mirror."

"My version of the evil queen is just a lunatic, which is fun," Roberts recently told ABC News.

"Mirror Mirror," also starring Armie Hammer (as the handsome prince) and Sean Bean (as King), opens Mar. 30.

Hangover III to be filmed in September.

The Hangover III, the third film in the comedy movie series, will begin production in September. The film, starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, is planned for release in May 2013, although a   

a storyline is not yet known. "We are extremely pleased to have Todd Phillips and the guys back together again for another Hangover and we look forward to collaborating with them on another great movie," said Jeff Robinov, president of Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

"I'm so excited to embark on another Hangover film with Bradley, Ed and Zach. We're going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions," Todd Phillips was quoted as saying by femalefirst.co.uk.

Craig Mazin and Phillips will write the screenplay for the project.

Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe preview "Les Miserables"‎.

Russell Crowe was seen for the first time on set of the film adaptation of Les Miserables as the formidable Inspector Jarvert.

Crowe, who had the perfect expression for the cruel policeman, who is on a mission to imprison convict Jean Valjean, played by Hugh Jackman.

The film is being shot in Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire and there was a full set on for Crowe's scenes as he was surrounded by camera and sound crew and extras who are his officers and were also on horses.

The teaser trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" is here and Kristen Stewart's as Bella Swan is a newborn vampire.

Total remake! Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale spring into action in Total Recall movie

Rihanna On Battleship Role: "It Was An Impeccable Experience".

 

Rihanna has described her upcoming acting debut in Battleship as a "huge" film and says it was an "impeccable experience" working with director Peter Berg.

The 'We Found Love' singer makes her debut alongside big name actors like Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch in the sci-fi epic, which stars Rihanna as navy weapons Officer Raikes.

"It's a huge film," Rihanna explained. "It was an exciting experience for my first time, and working with Peter Berg.

"I could not have handpicked, if it was my choice, a better director to work with on my first film," she told Ryan Seacrest this week. "His energy just filters through all the way to the set, through the crew, the cast, and he really helped me." 

The 'You Da One' singer added: "It was immense. It was an impeccable experience."

Rihanna is expected to premiere the music video for her Drake collaboration 'Take Care' later this month.

Battleship is due out in cinemas on 18^th May.

The much anticipated Jack Kerouac movie adaptation of On The Road finally got a trailer attached to the project. The movie, filmed in the summer of 2010 has been stalling for the past few years to be released. Tron's Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kristen Stewart, Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst and Tom Sturridge lead the film. 

No official release date has been set for the film.

Based on the play by Terence Rattigan, Weisz plays Hester, the wife of a British Judge who is caught in a self-destructive love affair with Freddie, a Royal Air Force pilot in The Deep Blue Sea. 

Eddie Murphy: I Still Want To Host The Oscars One Day!

Eddie Murphy stepped away from the Oscars hosting job earlier this year when Brett Ratner resigned from producing the show, but the funnyman hopes one day to steer Hollywood’s biggest night.

“It’s still something that I would like to do one day, because all the best comics have done it,” Eddie told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson as he promoted his new film, “A Thousand Words,” in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “It’s one of the few things I haven’t done in my 35 years in this business, so I would like to have that be part of my resume as well.”

Eddie backed off the Oscars hosting gig after Brett, his director in “Tower Heist,” resigned following comments the director made at a screening of the film in Los Angeles that prompted outcries of being homophobic.

Billy Crystal stepped in to the vacant hosting gig under 2012 Oscar producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer and Eddie – who said he watched “some” of the show — told Shaun the veteran Academy Awards host did an excellent job.

“I thought Billy did a wonderful job. Billy’s done it so many times, he can’t not do a good job,” Eddie told Shaun. “He’s really solid at that.”

Some critics suggested the show could have used more punch and Eddie actually revealed to Shaun his original plan, under Brett, was to make the show “pop.”

“The other award shows — the Grammys and the American Music Awards — all those music shows, they pop. So there’s no reason why the Oscars can’t pop too. You’ve got 10 songs that are up for Song of the Year, so you should have killer musical performances and so the show should be moving and Brett had all these ideas about it,” Eddie explained. “He was really gonna direct the Oscars… When he finished telling me about it, [I] was like, ‘Yeah! Let’s do it!’ and that’s what I got excited about doing – like a hipper, faster, choppier version of the show.”

Eddie also confirmed there was an idea to incorporate him into this year’s Oscars, a plan that never made it to fruition.

“We thought about it… We were like, ‘Let’s come up with something to do,’ and I guess we never came up with anything,” he said. “But maybe… if they ask me again, maybe I’ll do it… one day.”

In the meantime, Eddie is promoting his film “A Thousand Words,” playing a man who has a limited amount of time left, dictated by the leaves remaining on a bodhi tree, which loses a leaf every time he speaks.

“I thought it might be a challenge to do something where you… couldn’t speak, because all of my characters talk too much. So, I was like, ‘What happens if I can’t talk?’” Eddie said.

The movie also stars Kerry Washington as his wife, Caroline McCall, and she has a scene set to get pulses racing in theaters.

“She looks good, she looks good in her drawers, in her movie drawers,” Eddie said. “I’ve never seen her actual real drawers, but her movie drawers, she’s exquisite.”

Speaking of his own romantic life, Eddie shot down rumors that he’s dating singer Toni Braxton.

“I don’t even know who the new love is. I know I’m single and I ‘m just up at the house, playing the guitar and being a single dad,” he told Shaun, before she had a chance to tell him which lady he was being linked with by the press.

“Toni and I are just friends,” Eddie added, when Shaun mentioned the Grammy winner’s name. “I went to her show, and we’re friends and she’s a very, very sweet girl, but we’re just friends.”

“A Thousand Words” opens on March 9 at 2012.
